Monthly & Weekly Parish Prayer
We meet together at 9.30 am on the first Saturday of each month in the hospitality area of St Mary's and every Thursday at 7.00 pm in the Rectory. We pray for the needs of the Parish of Wombwell. Everyone is welcome.
It is a very informal event and there is no pressure to pray out loud if you are not comfortable with that. Do come and join us.
House Group
Each Wednesday there is a small Group meeting for Bible study and fellowship at 7.30 pm at the home of Jane Reynolds at 11, Pashley Croft, Wombwell - Why not come and join us
Men's Group
The Mens Group meets monthly on a Thursday evening for friendship, fellowship and fun. Interesded??? then please look at the notice boards at the back of both churches.
Parish Notice Sheets
From July, the weekly Parish Notice sheet (which is given out at all Church Services) will be produced monthly - the rationale for this is that it will save the environment (fewer sheets!!) and also will enable us to put events in our diaries earlier - it is hoped tha this will enable us to avoid clashed caused by short notification of events.
