Prayer Diary - FEBRUARY 2006
The God who said “Out of darkness the light shall shine!” is the same God who has made his light shine in our hearts to bring us the knowledge of God’s glory shining in the face of Christ.

Tuesday 14
One in seven people live in India, where Bible translation is needed in about 210 languages. Pray for those involved in this arduous but important task.
Please pray for Don Notley
Wednesday 15
Pray about the growing numbers of cohabiting couples choosing not to marry. Ask God to guard them in these vulnerable relationships an help them overcome their doubts about marriage.

Open our eyes that we may see saving grace, and stretch forth our hands to receive the Lord who has come.

Climatic changes are causing famine in West Africa and Southern Africa. Thank God for the generosity of Barnabus Fund supporters which enabled help to be sent to famine victims in mainly-Muslim Niger.

The Kera community in Chad suffered badly from last years famine, which was the worst some people have ever seen. Donations from Wycliffe supporters have provided some food aid. Pray for a good harvest after a series of bad ones.
